Rockhampton Horse Racing Tips Sat 11/7/26
$6.50 on Frosty’s Gotcha in Race 1 is where we keep landing at Rockhampton. She sits off the pace over the 1600m, and from barrier 3 she gets every chance to come home over the top of them. It’s fine overhead, but a Soft 5 still asks a question late, and that suits a horse doing its best work at the finish. Five we like on the card, and most of them race the same way, off the speed and running on. If you want the value today, it’s in the ones coming from behind, not the short leaders.

#1 Inca Trail is $1.95 in front, but I’m happy to take him on. #3 Outwitted has won a couple this time in and keeps finding the line, and while he settles back, he’s the type who runs over the top of them late. Ear muffs on, Ryan Wiggins aboard, and gate 6 is no bother in a small field. At $7, I’m on him to win.

Tongue control bit on, gate 2, and no genuine leader to chase up front. #6 August Joe settles off them, but he’s the type who runs over the top late, and he arrives here off a strong second last start with Tom Orr aboard. The fav has to do the work from gate 8, so I’ll take $4.50 on August Joe over $3.80 on Moochi Starlight.

#10 Exodas keeps saluting, and with genuine speed on he gets the race run to suit from gate 4. Adam Sewell stays put. Why take $2.30 on #4 Illegal Justice when Exodas gives you $5.50? Sticking with him.

Genuine speed up front is just what a hold-up horse wants, and #11 Underrated is the one who’ll charge home late. Blinkers back on, Satherley aboard, and he arrives off a win last start. I’d rather take $7.50 on the one running over the top of them than $3.10 on #7 Ask Me Mate. Have it.
