Randwick Horse Racing Tips Sat 20/6/26

Ten races at Randwick and we’ve come away keen on five of them, so there’s plenty to work through. The track’s a Soft 5 and fine overhead, so it’s not a wet-track guessing game today. Bustling in Race 8 is the one we keep coming back to at $4.20, drawn 9 but happy to settle off the speed in a race with no clear leader up front. The bigger prices like Zabiari in the Civic and Boniface back in the 6 are where we’ll go looking for a bit extra.

11. The Mona Lisa $7.50

Barrier 4 · Midfield · Genuine pace

Genuine speed up front is exactly what I want for a horse that finishes off. #11 The Mona Lisa settles midfield from gate 4, gets the blinkers and visors on, and Andrew Calder can let her balance up before swooping late. #8 Perfect Justice sits in that same midfield spot from a wider gate 6, so I’m not taking $2.70 there. At $7.50, she’s the better way into the race.

17. Boniface $8.00

Barrier 1 · Midfield · Soft pace

Tazima is no good to me at $2.90. The favourite has to weave through from a midfield run, and #17 Boniface sits in that same spot but draws the rail and comes home strong over the 1800m. He’s won at this trip, the ear muffs go back on, and Tyler Schiller rides. At $8, I’m on him.

2. Bustling $4.20

Barrier 9 · Off Pace · No leader

#2 Bustling is ready to fire. He reeled off a hat-trick of wins earlier this prep, and since the latest freshen he’s run third then second, so the cycle’s exactly where I want it. No genuine leader is the worry for an off-pace horse, but the favourite settles even further back, so I’m not taking $2.70 on #7 Sunshineinmypocket with the same problem at a worse price. Tommy Berry stays on, ear muffs back on, $4.20. Take him.

4. Zabiari $9.00

Barrier 1 · Midfield · Genuine pace

Winkers and ear muffs off first time is the hook on #4 Zabiari. He draws the rail in barrier 1, so he gets the cheap run from midfield while the genuine speed sets it up out front, and he won three on the bounce earlier this prep. At $9 he’s overs against the $3 favourite. On him each-way.

Race 10
4:25pm · 1400m · Hcp (Bm78) · 14 runners

14. Just Glamourous $8.00

Barrier 8 · Off Pace · Soft pace

Eight bucks for #14 Just Glamourous is the price I’ll chase. He finishes off hard, the blinkers go back on for Joseph Pride, and the $3.70 favourite sits in that same midfield spot at a much shorter quote. I’m with him at $8.
