Port Macquarie Horse Racing Tips Sat 4/7/26

Fine day up at Port Macquarie and the track has dried back to a Soft 7, so no excuses for these ones. Only a couple across the six races worth a look for mine. Dancing Tilda in the 3 gets in nicely at $6 in a no-leader affair over 1808m, and she can settle off the pace and pick them off late. Then Spring Blossom in the 5, the $3 is short but the race maps hot up front, and she’ll be finishing over the top of them. Two we’re keen on, the rest can wait.

2. Dancing Tilda $6.00

Barrier 4 · Off Pace · No leader

#2 Dancing Tilda won last start and she’s $6 here, a fair bit of overs over the fav. It looks a no-leader race and she settles back, but she comes home strong and that’s exactly how she got the job done last time. Drawn 4 with Jeff Kehoe aboard, she gets a soft enough trip on the soft 7. Farraige sits closer at $5, but I’m happy to take the extra on the horse in form. Each-way.

9. Spring Blossom $3.00

Barrier 4 · Off Pace · Hot pace

Genuine speed up top is exactly what #9 Spring Blossom wants. He won last start and now gets back off them, so a hot tempo sets it up for his late run. Barrier 4, Grady Spokes aboard, and the ear muffs go on first time to help him switch off early. He’s short at $3, but the race shape is doing the work for him. Have it.
