Nowra Horse Racing Tips Mon 15/6/26
Five from the seven at Nowra read well enough for us to get involved, so there’s plenty going on here. It’s a Heavy 8 with overcast skies, and a few of these races have no clear leader, which makes them tricky to sort. Shezain in Race 5 is the one we like best, sitting around the $3.20 mark with a soft map to work with. The rest are a mix of value and patience, so pick your spots and don’t chase every leg.

There’s genuine speed engaged here, so #5 Voltage Lass has to find the front from gate 1, and $2.35 is plenty to be doing on a Heavy 8. #6 Bivacco sits just off them from gate 3 with Keagan Latham up for Ciaron Maher, and he gets the tempo to chase. At $4.80 I’d rather have him than a leader doing all the work.

4. Gold Earth $4.40

Cross-over nose band goes on for the first time, and that’s the hook on #4 Gold Earth. He ran a nice second before a spell and comes back fresh for Tommy Wong. There’s no genuine leader, so he’ll be settling back, but the favourite has the same problem one gate in and you’re paying $2.35 for it. At $4.40 with the new gear and Jeff Penza aboard, I’m with him.

Reckless Behaviour has to do the work up front at $3.50 with no settled leader to lean on. I’d sooner have #4 Shezain at $3.20, drawn 3 with Jessica Brookes up, landing just off them for the cleaner run. On board.

6. Insane Volt $9.50

$9.50 for #6 Insane Volt is the kind of overs I’m chasing. He’s drawn 2 with Jess Taylor aboard and carries a win and a second through his recent runs. I’m not taking $1.45 on #3 Sneaky Pee Cee when this bloke pays that much each-way.

3. Spiritualistic $3.30
Barrier 6 · Pace · Soft pace
#3 Spiritualistic keeps winning, two of his last four, and he races up on the pace. In a soft-run race #2 Soul Lady has to chase from the back at $2.90, and I’m not paying that. I’m on Spiritualistic at $3.30.
