Newcastle Race Tips Analysis for October 5, 2024

Distance: 1400m | Class: 3YO+ Cl 1 | Exp Tempo: Mod – Fast

Two horse play.

CREEK broke through last start on his nine start, winning his first race since becoming a gelding.

He did this in tremendous fashion, and I am expecting him to improve and go on with it here.

DRACO’S FIRE is the value of the race.

Back to 1400m suit and the 3kg off for the claimer is going to help his chances after running fairly over 1600m

Numbers: 3 – 4 – 6 – 2

Distance: 1200m | Class: 3YO+ BM64  | Exp Tempo: Mod – Fast

Two horse play.

FUMIKO is having her first start for Mitch Beer here following eight runs with Tony Gollan.

Her first-up record is very good and rates well enough to win this. This is the easiest she has faced in some time and should get every chance from the draw.

RESTONICA is the other I like here.

He is a consistent gelding who has began his preparation with a tight second after being gelded.

Any improvement on this run will see him run a new peak which will too good for these.

Numbers: 7 – 3 – 4 – 15

Distance: 1300m | Class: 3YO+ BM68 | Exp Tempo:  Mod

Two horse play here.

RIP OFF has been super consistent this preparation, running second twice and winning twice, one of which was last start over this track and distance in the same grade.

She has drawn well and goes up the 2kg for that win, but she can go close again with a replica performance.

SATIN SHIMMER will be leading this race for a long way following an all the way win at Canberra last start.

The rail out will suit her and you know she is from the right stable when it comes to being fit and hard to run down.

Numbers: 10 – 13 – 6 – 11
