Muswellbrook Horse Racing Tips Fri 12/6/26
Two we like at Muswellbrook and the prices read well on both. Live To Rise in the 5 at $3.70 is where I want to be, drawn 2 in a sprint with no obvious leader, so he can dictate from off the speed. Oenology in the 6 at $4.80 is the other one worth a look, rail draw, midfield run, sitting on a genuine tempo from gate 1. Soft 7 with a bit of cloud overhead, but nothing scary in the going. Thin card for us, two bets, both at honest odds.

$2.70 for #1 Detain from gate 6 isn’t my price. The fav has to push across to find a spot, and with no clear leader on a soft track, that’s work. #4 Live To Rise gets gate 2, Kody Nestor on, and he keeps finishing off. Three recent wins and just came off a second. He drops in behind the speed and picks them off late. At $3.70, he’s the one. Take him.

Blinkers and tongue tie back on, gate 1, sitting midfield while a genuine speed plays out in front. That’s the setup I want for #1 Oenology. The favourite Damascus Gate has to lead from gate 4 and burn petrol up front, while Oenology gets the cosy rails run and rolls over the top of them late. Two wins from his last six and the same $4.80 as the leader doing all the work. I’m on him.
