Just the one we’re keen on at Murray Bridge today, so don’t expect a full card of tips from us. The going is a Soft 6 under grey skies, and in a scratchy 15-runner maiden over 900m everyone will pile onto the early speed. We’re happy to go the other way. Glouf drew gate 1 and settles off them, which reads like the wrong way to win a short sprint until you see the price. At $4.40 for Glouf, we reckon the market’s got the speed too short and left a bit of value behind.

Dirty Gold is $2.35 and settles off the pace just the same, so I’m not keen taking that short a price on a horse doing the same job. #3 Glouf draws the rail, comes back fresh after running second earlier this prep, and Harry Grace stays on for Clarken. Over 900m he doesn’t need to give much away from gate 1. At $4.40 he’s the one I want.
