Moruya Horse Racing Tips Fri 19/6/26

Country meeting at Moruya, and the fields are jammed, sixteen and seventeen runners in a few of these. That always makes it a tricky read, so we picked our spots and left two races alone. Track’s a Soft 5 under grey skies, nothing too testing, but the big fields mean you want a clear run more than anything. Pariah Time in Race 3 is the one we keep coming back to. Drawn 9 in a twelve-horse maiden with no obvious leader, so the map’s open and $3.20 looks fair for a horse that can settle midfield and pick them off. Six we’re keen on across the card. A couple of nice prices further down if you want a swing at the bigger ones.

10. Won For Vicki $3.80

Barrier 2 · Off Pace · Hot pace

Plenty of speed early here, which is exactly what #10 Won For Vicki wants. He settles off them but comes home hard, and a hot tempo lets him pick up the leaders late. Drawn 2, Krogh aboard, and he’s been running second and third his last couple. The fav has to do it from gate 7 at a shorter quote. I’m on Won For Vicki at $3.80.

2. Pariah Time $3.20

Barrier 9 · Midfield · No leader

#2 Pariah Time is the one for me here. She ran a third and a fourth before her spell, so she comes back fresh with a tidy profile for Beer and Carpenter. No genuine leader means she can roll forward from midfield rather than get buried, and Amy Mclucas knows the way around. The favourite settles even deeper from the rail, so I’m not taking $3.60 on one with the same query. $3.20, on her to win.

9. Party It Down $7.50

Barrier 6 · Midfield · Genuine pace

No thanks to the favourite at $2.60. #3 Olington Lane has to come from the back through a 14-horse field, and with genuine speed on that’s plenty to ask. #9 Party It Down sits midfield from gate 6 with Fawke up, and he can run over the top of them late. $7.50, each-way.

Race 6
3:10pm · 1650m · Hcp (Bm58) · 12 runners

7. Beauer $10.00

Barrier 4 · Off Pace · No leader

Ten bucks for #7 Beauer is the kind of price I’ll chase in a race with no genuine leader. He gets back, but he comes home strong and can pick them off late when no one’s dictating up front. Gate 4 keeps him close enough and Van Overmeire stays on. The fav at $3.10 has to do more from out wide. Happy to take the $10.

Race 7
3:50pm · 1200m · Hcp (Bm74) · 14 runners

11. Tillstrom $6.00

Barrier 5 · Midfield · Soft pace

Blinkers go on #11 Tillstrom and that’s the hook I want. He won last start before a freshen, draws inside the fav at gate 5, and Robyn Freeman sticks. The favourite is resuming too, so I’d rather take the $6 than $3.70 on Midnight Moose. Have it.

Race 8
4:25pm · 1200m · Hcp (C1) · 10 runners

15. I Show Speed $5.50

Barrier 5 · Off Pace · Soft pace

Yeah, I’m on #15 I Show Speed. He won a few back, ran on fresh, and finishes hard while #8 Dirtballer does all the work in front from gate 8. $5.50 against $2.15 for a one-win horse, take him.
