Morphettville Horse Racing Tips Sat 27/6/26
Nine on the card at Morphettville and we’ve only landed on five, so it’s a selective day rather than backing into every race. The going is a Soft 6 and fine overhead, so nothing too testing, but a few of ours want to be settling back and finishing off rather than leading. We’re keen on the off-pace types here, with Hot Too Go at $3.60 and I Will Shine at $3.30 the shorter ones we like, and a bit of value further out on Anotherhouse at $6.50. The rest of the card can wait. Five we’re happy to be on, and we’ll let the others run.

#6 Hidden Bounty at $10. There’s genuine speed on, which is exactly what a horse that gets back off the pace wants. He drops in from gate 8, Alysha Warren stays on, and he ran third last start so he’s knocking on the door. The favourite has to lead from gate 10 and do all the donkey work at $2.45, and I’d rather take the overs on one that can come home over the top of them. Each-way at $10.

#4 Golden Horizon draws 3 while the favourite has to find a way across from gate 11. #2 Royal Sway is short enough at $3 with that gate to overcome, and Golden Horizon gets the cleaner run with Campbell Rawiller aboard. At $8.50 with the better draw, I’m on him.

#4 Anotherhouse is back off a freshen and won a couple of starts back, so the cycle’s right. There’s no genuine leader, so he’ll settle off them, but the favourite has the same problem from a worse gate at $6. I’d rather take the better draw and the bigger quote. $6.50 to win.

Equicast goes on first time, Teo Nugent stays put, and #9 I Will Shine finished second last start off a win the run before. He knows how to run them down late. $3.30, take him.
