Moree Horse Racing Tips 2/6/26

Off The Scale at $3.80 in race 2 keeps drawing us back, sitting off the pace from gate 6 on a Soft 7. Three we’re keen on at Moree today, with the Cup in race 4 the headline.

2. Off The Scale $3.80

Barrier 6 · Off Pace · Soft pace

Winkers go on for the first time, and that’s enough to think Off The Scale finds another gear late. The tempo looks soft, but he’s the type to pick them off once he balances up. From gate 6 he can settle off the speed and still get into the race. The favourite at $5 is no good to me when she’s coming from back in the field too. Take Off The Scale at $3.80.

4. The Confidante $6.00

Barrier 6 · Off Pace · No leader

$6 about The Confidante is a fair quote when the favourite is $1.80 and has the same problem getting back in a no-leader race. Both settle off the speed, but Zamalek is short enough for a horse coming from midfield too. Blinkers and bar plates go on, gate 6 is fine, and on a soft 7 I’m happy to take the price. I’m on The Confidante.

Race 6
1200m · Hcp (Bm58) · 10 runners

10. Exoflow $7.00

Barrier 4 · Off Pace · Hot pace

Hot speed up front, and the favourite has to lead it from gate 1. No thanks at $3.20. Exoflow gets back, lets them cook each other, and runs over the top of them late. $7, easy.
