Caulfield Horse Racing Tips Sat 10/10/26
Caulfield runs a staying card, from 1100m out to 2400m,…

Eight races at Kembla and we’ve landed on six, so there’s plenty to work through here. Track’s a Soft 5 and racing fine overhead, nothing tricky about the ground today. The read across the card is the same story most races, no genuine leader, so we keep leaning to horses that can settle off the speed and finish over the top. Best bet is Arizona Loner in Race 6, and at $9 for him we reckon that’s overs. Few we like at a price, so it’s a card worth digging into.
11. Quadria $7.50
Barrier 3 · Off Pace · No leader
The favourite is the one I want to take on here. $1.75 for #4 Glissando off a single run, a fifth at that, is way too short for me. #11 Quadria draws the inside in gate 3, Grant Buckley sticks, and he’s back from a spell having run third only a couple back. At $7.50 he gives us plenty against a short one still finding his feet. Each-way.
3. Copartner Pegasus $7.50
Barrier 5 · Off Pace · No leader
Visors on for the first time and that’s what I like here. #3 Copartner Pegasus keeps finding the line, plenty of thirds and fourths without saluting, and the headgear should help him wind up late. Gate 5 lets Keagan Latham slot him in and swoop when they come back to him in a no-speed race. At $7.50 he’s a much better gamble than Clanwilliam at $1.85. I’m with him.
3. Pariah Time $5.00
Barrier 6 · Off Pace · Soft pace
#3 Pariah Time ran a game second first-up and only improves second time. He does get back from gate 6, but he finishes his races off hard, so the soft tempo lets him swoop late. At $5 I’d rather have him than take $2.60 for #8 Written Doll.
1. Onmalone $5.50
Barrier 3 · Off Pace · No leader
$5.50 for #1 Onmalone against a favourite with the same map trouble? Yes please. No genuine leader here, Cuesta sits off the pace too, and the blinkers going on from gate 3 let Andrew Adkins swoop him home late.
8. Arizona Loner $9.00
Barrier 8 · Midfield · No leader
$9 is overs and I’ll take it. #8 Arizona Loner won a couple back and ran third last start, Chad Schofield stays on, and from gate 8 he settles midfield with a genuine turn of foot. There’s no leader here, but the favourite sits just as far back at $1.70, so I won’t touch that price on a horse with the same problem. Arizona Loner to win.
3. Heuristic $5.50
Barrier 1 · Midfield · No leader
No genuine leader, and #3 Heuristic draws the rail while the favourite has to come from gate 7 and get right back at $3.30. Give me the horse that saves ground every yard at $5.50.
