Launceston Horse Racing Tips Fri 16/10/26
Soft 5 at Launceston with the rail out 6m the…

Country cup day at Grafton, and the deck’s come up a nice dry Good 4 with fine weather over the top. Seven on the card, four we’re keen on. The South Grafton Cup in Race 6 is the one they’ve all turned up for, 11. Nothing here we’re calling a standout, just a few worth a look where the price makes sense to us.
2. Divine Effort $5.50
Barrier 9 · Midfield · No leader
No clear leader, midfield trip from gate 9.
12. So Sain $4.50
Barrier 2 · Midfield · Genuine pace
The favourite’s the one I’m taking on. #3 Didie’s Meadow is $1.95 from a wider gate, and in a genuine-speed sprint that’s too short for me. #12 So Sain sits just off them from the inside draw, keeps hitting the frame, and the winkers go on. Ben Looker stays on for Ethan Ensby. $4.50 with the cleaner run against the rail, and I’m on him.
3. Kronenbourg $5.50
Barrier 9 · Pace · Genuine pace
Blinkers and tongue tie both go on, and Nash Rawiller takes over for Tony Gollan. #3 Kronenbourg can push forward into a genuine tempo, and at $5.50 I’d rather have him rolling on speed than take $2.90 on #10 Mr Chaplin from midfield. Gate 9 is the query, but I’m happy to take that on.
10. Bails $5.00
Barrier 4 · Midfield · Soft pace
Second-up is when #10 Bails is at his best. He strung together back-to-back wins earlier this prep before a freshen, and gate 4 lets Nick Heywood settle him handy in a race with no real speed on. Spills has to do the donkey work out front from gate 9. At $5, he’s the one I want.
