Hawkesbury Horse Racing Tips Thu 15/10/26
All Star caught the eye early in race 7, three…

Eight races at Gawler and we’ve got a tip in every one, so there’s plenty to work through here. The track’s a Heavy 10 after the rain, so we’re racing on a proper bog and that changes how the whole card reads. Most of these races have no obvious leader, which means the run matters more than usual and the wet ground only adds to the guesswork. None of them are short enough to get excited about, but there’s a few we like across the day, so take your pick and tread carefully on the heavy going.
1. Hamner Springs $3.20
Barrier 1 · Off Midfield · No leader
Big gear change here, norton bit and nose roll on for the first time. #1 Hamner Springs draws the rail, and with no genuine leader he can land where he wants from gate 1. Jason Holder stays on. The favourite is only a touch shorter at $3 from a similar spot just outside him, so I’d rather take the $3.20 and the better gate. On a heavy 10, that inside run matters.
5. Breakfast $4.80
Barrier 1 · Midfield · Soft pace
$1.80 for #1 Polunin off one start? Not for me. I’d sooner have the proven one. #5 Breakfast draws the fence, settles midfield, and knows how to finish off, so on a heavy 10 he can run over the top of the lightly raced leader late. At $4.80, I’m on him.
8. Here She Is $3.40
Barrier 8 · Midfield · No leader
#8 Here She Is keeps finding the line, fourth last time with placings either side, and the tongue tie goes on today. #3 Healthandhappiness is $2.20 off one run where she finished sixth, too short for me on a heavy 10. Here She Is runs her races out from midfield and can pick them off late in a no-leader scrap. At $3.40, she’s the better gamble.
5. Karma Queen $4.80
Barrier 8 · Midfield · No leader
Zarubina is the danger, but she has to give them all a start from the back, and $2.70 is no value in a no-leader scrap like this. #5 Karma Queen settles closer from gate 8, gets the tongue tie on, and can pick them off late on the heavy ground. Harry Grace for Will Clarken, $4.80, I’m on her.
1. Moussaka $5.50
Barrier 9 · Midfield · No leader
No genuine leader, and the fav has to burn it up front to make the running. #1 Moussaka gets the tongue tie on, comes home strong from midfield, and on a heavy 10 that late kick brings him right into it. At $5.50, I’ll take him over Mystrix at $4.
7. Kiss And Kaboom $4.40
Barrier 3 · Off Midfield · No leader
#7 Kiss And Kaboom draws inside the favourite at gate 3 and pays more. Both settle off midfield with no leader to chase, so I’d sooner take $4.40 than $3.80 on Testing One Two from the wider gate.
9. Tahnee Territory $4.60
Barrier 1 · Pace · Soft pace
#9 Tahnee Territory leads this and that’s enough for me. Rail draw, blinkers on, and she’s coming off a win, so in a soft-run race no one is chasing her down early from gate 1. Silver Chaos has to make her run from midfield at $2.50. I’m on the front-runner at $4.60.
8. Suit Of Wands $3.80
Barrier 6 · Backmarker · No leader
#8 Suit Of Wands at $3.80, tongue tie on. No leader in this, so he can swoop late from gate 6 while the fav Flyway has to do more from out wide. He quickens when it counts, and on the heavy ground that late kick is the angle. Have him.
