Gatton Horse Racing Tips Sat 27/6/26

Good 4 at Gatton and the ground is racing fair, so no excuses out there today. That cuts both ways for us, because a true track means the better horse usually wins and the prices tighten up. Across the nine races there’s only a couple we’re keen on, so this is a thin card for value. We like Rugby in the 2 at $3.10 and we keep coming back to Sunny Disposition in the 9 at $4.20. The rest can wait.

Race 2
11:59am · 1600m · Hcp (C3) · 7 runners

2. Rugby $3.10

Barrier 3 · Midfield · Genuine pace

The favourite’s no good to me at $2.10. #5 Power Of Success has to make his run from off the speed, and with a genuine tempo on, that’s the short one doing the work. #2 Rugby sits handy from gate 3, won two back then kept finding the line with a third and a second. Harrison Shaw stays on. At $3.10, he’s the one I want each-way.

Race 9
4:27pm · 2000m · (Bm58) Hcp · 10 runners

4. Sunny Disposition $4.20

Barrier 5 · Midfield · No leader

Gate 5, sits closer to the speed than the fav, and the cross-over nose band goes on. In a race with no genuine leader, #4 Sunny Disposition lands in the better spot. #3 Alfa Dundee has to find them from further back, so I’d rather take $4.20 here than $3.60 on the one with the harder run. On him.
