Flemington Horse Racing Tips Sat 18/7/26
Nine races at Flemington and we’ve only landed on one. That doesn’t happen often at headquarters, but nothing much jumped out once we’d been through the card. The track’s a Soft 6 and fine overhead, so no dramas with the ground. The one we’re keen on is Next Step Iowa in the last, a 14-horse sprint where we’re happy to be on at $3.00.

#13 Next Step Iowa keeps hitting the line, two wins and a third from his last three, and Craig Williams stays on for Matt Laurie. Gate 11 is the obvious knock, he has to work across from out wide, but he settles midfield and finishes his races off strong, so that draw hurts him less than it looks. Street Artist is the danger from gate 10 at $3.40. I’ll take the horse in form at $3.
