Randwick Horse Racing Tips Wed 7/10/26
No pure sprints at Randwick, with the card running 1250m…

Soft 7 at Doomben and the rain’s stayed in the clouds for now, but the ground is still giving. The thing that stands out across the card is how few of these races have a genuine leader. Three of the ones we like all shape up the same way, no real speed up front, which lets the off-pace types get into the race late. That suits Bonus Season in Race 6 at $4.60, our best of the day from off the speed. Three we’re keen on here, all of them happy to settle back and run home, so it pays to be patient and let the race come to them.
9. Stein $8.50
Barrier 9 · Off Pace · No leader
No genuine leader here, and the favourite is an off-pacer too, so I’m not keen on $2.20 for #13 Moshulu Spirit when it has the same get-back problem. #9 Stein settles in that same part of the race but pays $8.50. He placed in most of his runs before the spell and comes back with the tongue tie on for the Munce yard. Gate 9 is the worry, but at that price I’m happy to take him each-way.
7. Bonus Season $4.60
Barrier 9 · Off Pace · No leader
#7 Bonus Season has been knocking on the door, a couple of seconds before he broke through, and Daniel Moor stays on for Grahame Begg. No clear leader means he can build into it from behind, and his late kick is the weapon when they come home hard. The favourite is parked just as far back from gate 3 at $4.40, so I’d sooner take the $4.60 on the one with the stronger finish. Have it.
7. Saint Aldwyn $5.50
Barrier 8 · Off Pace · No leader
Yeah, I’m on #7 Saint Aldwyn. Three wins from his last six and a second last start, so he’s bang in form, and the blinkers stay on for Schweida. At $5.50 he’s the better value than taking $2.50 on the favourite. On him to win.
