Hawkesbury Horse Racing Tips Thu 15/10/26
All Star caught the eye early in race 7, three…

Carnival’s done and dusted, so Doomben settles back into a normal Saturday. Good 4 and fine overhead, which means it comes down to who’s the right price rather than who handles the ground. We’ve been through the nine races and landed on seven we like, all of them sitting in that $5 to $7 range. No standout on the day, just a handful worth a look where we reckon the market’s left a bit in it.
8. Dracena $5.00
Barrier 6 · Off Pace · No leader
#4 Automne Tree is no good to me at $2.60. #8 Dracena gives us $5 with the blinkers going on. He won two on the bounce not long ago and settles back with a strong finish, so a no-leader race suits a horse that can run over the top of them late. Anthony Allen sticks from gate 6, while the fav has to do it from midfield at half the price. I’m on Dracena.
9. Captain Maverick $6.00
Barrier 3 · Midfield · No leader
Waller’s put the gear on #9 Captain Maverick, a cross-over nose band and tongue tie to get him to settle over the 2000m. He draws 3, keeps finding the line, and was placed again last start. In a race with no clear leader, the favourite has the same midfield job from a worse gate at $3.90. I’ll take the $6.
15. Addition $7.00
Barrier 4 · Off Midfield · No leader
#15 Addition at $7 looks too big to me. He draws 4, Robbie Dolan rides for Tony Gollan, and he brings a win and two thirds from his last three. There’s no genuine leader, but he settles just off midfield while the favourite Natoya has to make ground from deeper at $4. Same query, better price. Take him each-way at $7.
1. Braveheart $5.50
Barrier 3 · Pace · No leader
No genuine leader here, so #1 Braveheart can bowl along in front from gate 3. He’s kept winning and placing right through this prep, and Chelsea Baker holds the crossing while the fav has to chase from out in gate 7. $5.50 for the horse setting his own tempo looks the better play than $2.80 on one giving him a start. Easy.
11. Zoubaby $6.50
Barrier 6 · Off Midfield · Soft pace
#11 Zoubaby is the one for me. Second-up for Tony Gollan, Daniel Moor stays on, and he’s got a win and a couple of seconds not long ago. $6.50 is plenty in a field of six. Take him to win.
16. Rough Cause $5.00
Barrier 7 · Leader · Genuine pace
#16 Rough Cause and the fav are both $5, so give me the one heading the right way. A win and a second from his last two for Tony Gollan, the ear muffs keep him calm before the gates, and he can bounce across to lead from gate 7. Navy Pilot’s form is patchy for the same price. On the improver.
6. Give Giggles $7.00
Barrier 7 · Pace · Genuine pace
Gear off first time on #6 Give Giggles, tongue tie and lugging bit both stripped, and Gollan doesn’t pull that off for nothing. He can roll forward from gate 7 with genuine speed on, and I’ll take the $7 over $4.40 on Restonica.
