Cootamundra Horse Racing Tips Sun 4/10/26
Showers are hanging around Cootamundra today and the track is a Good 4, so it’s a day for horses that don’t mind a bit of give. We’re keen on four of the eight races. The Cup in Race 7 is the feature, and it looks like being a slowly run mile. Our best bet is in Race 6, a sprint with plenty of speed in it. Elsewhere I want the consistent types at fair prices, and $7.50 for Sundrop in the last is worth a look.

Not much speed in this race, and #5 Hussy La Vista settles off it, so that’s the worry. The thing is, #10 Bloomin’ Rich has the same problem and it’s worse for him: he’s drawn 6, goes back near the tail and he’s $3.70. She’s run third, second and fourth at her last three, and gate 5 in a field of eight won’t bury her. On a Good 4, I’d rather have her at $3.40.

Who do I trust in a slowly run mile on a Good 4? #11 Stormbringer. He’s placed at each of his last three, running second last time, and Richard Bensley rides him from midfield. #3 Fox Appeal sits in that same spot at $4.80 and ran sixth before his third. I like the more consistent horse at $3.90.

#6 Vinari ran eighth last start and she’s $3.30. Not for me. #10 Sundrop at $7.50 has a win and two thirds from her last three, and a hot pace suits her from midfield.
