Best Bets For Caulfield

Race 4: #5 BRANDJAM

Thought BRANDJAM was worth a speck in this race.

Career peak last start at Cranbourne and the 29 day break looks ideal to bring some speed back into the legs.

1440m is a query but he will be up on speed and give them something to catch and if the track is favouring those on pace, then I think the $18 is worth a shout.

Race 6: #3 THE BLACK CLOUD

Clearly the best horse in the race on her day.

Comes here 2nd up of a 19 day break and should improve off that run.

Maps well and this is a nice drop in depth to what she has contested.

CHEERSTOTHAT is progressive but I have some concerns with potentially being flat off the short break.

Race 7: #3 ZOU SENSATION

Concerned with the barrier and where he gets to in the run potentially needing some luck but trust Stacky to get it right.

It was a great return first up at Caulfield behind the likes of OH TOO GOOD who has come out and won well since.

The little tick over jump out recently was good and runs well 2nd up.

Race 8: #4 EARLSWOOD

Career peak last start and was the flashing light when blocked in the straight but motored home once out

3rd up here and should be peaking.

Surprised to actually see he’s not the favourite after beating SAYEDATY SADATY convincingly last start.
