Carnarvon Horse Racing Tips Fri 10/7/26

We keep coming back to $4 on The Sessione in the first, an off-pace type who should get every chance if the speed falls apart up front. Good track at Carnarvon, fine overhead, so no excuses on the ground. Thin card really, just two we’re keen on across the six. The other one’s later. Hundred Yards at $9.50 in the last is the each-way price we like, drawn a touch awkward from 9 but worth a look at those odds.

Race 1
4:45pm · 1600m · 10 Mdn · 12 runners

4. The Sessione $4.00

Barrier 3 · Off Pace · No leader

#4 The Sessione is the same price as the fav but draws the better gate. There’s no genuine leader here, so his late finish matters; he hit the line hard last start and gets gate 3 while Swishgobango is stuck out wider. Natika Riordan sticks. At $4 with the softer run, I’m on him each-way.

Race 6
7:16pm · 1600m · Hcp (56+) · 14 runners

10. Hundred Yards $9.50

Barrier 9 · Off Pace · No leader

The overs are with #10 Hundred Yards at $9.50. There’s no leader here, so it becomes a race won late, and he keeps finishing off his runs, a win not long back and a couple of fourths since. Only Us is short at $2.90 for a horse with no real edge in that same slow tempo. From gate 9, he’s the one I want at the price.
