Bunbury Horse Racing Tips Sun 28/6/26

Opal Tango at $10 in Race 7 is the one that jumped out when we went through the card at Bunbury. It’s a Soft 7 with showers about, so the ground is the thing to respect here. We’ve got five we’re keen on across the day, and a couple of them are real prices. Nothing we’d call a standout, but Opal Tango and Masamune at $8 in the last are where the value looks to be for us. Honest card, a few worth a look if you can wear the wet track.

Race 4
3:30pm · 2013m · Hospital Mdn · 11 runners

2. Yankee Ace $7.50

Barrier 2 · Midfield · Genuine pace

Visors on first time, gate 2, and a genuine tempo to switch him into the race. #2 Yankee Ace at $7.50 is the each-way I’m chasing against the short one. Star Assault is $2.90 from gate 9 and has to make up ground out wide. The first-time gear is the hook here, and from the inside he gets the cosier run. Happy to take the overs.

Race 6
4:40pm · 2013m · Hcp (54+) · 10 runners

2. Shaula $3.70

Barrier 7 · Midfield · No leader

Yeah, I’m with #2 Shaula here. Two thirds on the bounce say she’s knocking on the door, and the blinkers staying on keep her honest. There’s no genuine leader in this, so from gate 7 she can settle midfield and save up for one strong run at them late. At $3.70, she’s the one I want to see hit the line first.

Race 7
5:20pm · 2013m · Hcp (54+) · 13 runners

9. Opal Tango $10.00

Barrier 9 · Midfield · Soft pace

Ten bucks is plenty for #9 Opal Tango. He won a couple back, gets the tongue tie on, and from gate 9 he can settle midfield and come with one run late. The fav Pincer Movement is only $3.50 off just two starts, so I’d sooner take the $10. On him.

Race 8
5:55pm · 2213m · Cup (L) · 10 runners

5. Opportunistic $3.60

Barrier 6 · Midfield · Soft pace

William Pike sticks with #5 Opportunistic, and that’s a booking I want on my side. He’s drawn 6, can land midfield, and ran third last time out. The fav Hoba West has to do the work from gate 10 out wide. At $3.60, Pike’s good enough for me.

Race 9
6:30pm · 1200m · Hcp (C5) · 12 runners

2. Masamune $8.00

Barrier 6 · Off Pace · No leader

No genuine leader here, so #2 Masamune can sneak forward and finish over the top of them late. He’s won a couple not long back, draws 6, and $8 is real overs against $4.20 on the fav. Happy to have him each-way.
