Seymour Horse Racing Tips Sun 11/10/26
No rating posted yet at Seymour, but it's sunny with…
Rulesque jumped out at me going through the Broome card, drawn 2 in Race 7 and looking to be handy from the jump. At $6.50 with a soft pace shape in front of him, that price makes plenty of sense. The track’s rated Good, so no excuses there, just a fair test over 1300m against 13 rivals. Four we’re keen on across the day, but Rulesque is the one I keep coming back to.
5. Hard To Top $8.50
Barrier 5 · Off Pace · No leader
Overs angle here. #5 Hard To Top is $8.50 with the winkers going on and jumps from a tidy gate 5. Yeah he settles back and has to pick them off, but he’s been finding the line enough to say he’s closer than the price reads. The favourite is $2.30 and keeps running into placings without saluting, so I’d rather take the each-way value on Hard To Top.
2. Make Your Point $10.00
Barrier 3 · Off Pace · No leader
Dust Aside at $2.10 is too short for my liking. In a small field like this I’d rather chase a price than take odds-on. #2 Make Your Point draws a handy gate 3, gets the tongue tie on, and has been finding the line without quite saluting. At $10, that’s a price worth chancing on him.
7. The Top Bar $7.00
Barrier 6 · Off Pace · Genuine pace
Genuine speed up top, and that’s the setup a closer like #7 The Top Bar loves. He gets back but runs over the top of them late, and he’s got a recent win in the book. At $7 against the $2.70 fav who has to do the work from midfield, I’m with him.
3. Rulesque $6.50
Barrier 2 · Pace · Soft pace
#3 Rulesque is the leader I want here. He draws the inside at gate 2, and with a soft tempo he can roll forward and dictate his own race. The favourite Sempre has to run him down from midfield, so at $6.50 I’ll take the horse in front over $3.40 on one giving him the start. On him to win.
