Cranbourne Horse Racing Tips Fri 9/10/26
Nine races at Cranbourne and we're only keen on one,…

Midweek country at Bendigo, and it’s a fine day on a Soft 6, so the ground isn’t the story here. The fields are. Fourteen-horse maiden in Race 3, twelve in Race 6, fourteen again in the last. Big fields, plenty of runners, and that’s where it pays to be picky. We’re not loading up across the eight. Just three we’re keen on. Tsavo at $8.50 from a wide gate in the maiden, In Haste at $7 in a race that looks set to be run along, and Centu Cavaddi at $5.50 in the last. No standout, no horse we’ll die in the ditch for. Just three worth a look on a quiet country card.
10. Tsavo $8.50
Barrier 9 · Off Pace · Soft pace
$8.50 for #10 Tsavo is the price I want here. The blinkers stay on, he settles just off them from gate 9, and he’s been finding the line without winning, a few honest fourths after placing earlier this prep. The pace looks soft, but he knows how to pick them off late. I’d rather have that at $8.50 than take $3.30 on #7 Iberian Lynx sitting just in front.
4. In Haste $7.00
Barrier 4 · Off Pace · Hot pace
Genuine speed up front in this one, and that’s exactly what In Haste wants. #4 In Haste settles back from gate 4, but on a hot tempo he gets to run over the top of them late. The favourite sits in the same spot with the same problem, and I’m not taking $2.90 on Star Trip when In Haste does the same job at $7. Blinkers stay on, Liana Wood aboard. He’s the one I’m with.
8. Centu Cavaddi $5.50
Barrier 9 · Midfield · No leader
John Allen sticks for Busuttin and Young, and that’s the booking I want here. #8 Centu Cavaddi came back from a let-up to run second last start, blinkers stay on, and he’s got the late legs to pick them off from midfield. The fav sits in the same spot for less, so I’ll take the $5.50. Have it.
