Seymour Horse Racing Tips Sun 11/10/26
No rating posted yet at Seymour, but it's sunny with…

Spring Prospect in the 6 is the one we keep coming back to, drawn on the rail at a fair price for a horse this well placed late on the card. It’s a Heavy 9 out at Bathurst, fine overhead but they’re racing on a proper wet track, so where they’re drawn and how they travel matters more than usual. A few of these races have no clear leader, which can throw the form right up in the air. Plenty to like across all six though, and a fair bit of value if you’re happy to take a price.
3. Argyle Springs $7.00
Barrier 6 · Midfield · No leader
$1.95 for #4 Don’t Say Do in a no-leader heavy 9? That’s too short for one that has to come from off the pace and find a run. #3 Argyle Springs sits midfield off the same shape but pays $7. Buckley sticks, ear muffs on, and she’s run a couple of placings lately. I’d rather take the overs on the one with the same problem. On her at $7.
3. Wizard’s Star $4.00
Barrier 1 · Off Midfield · No leader
Nose band comes off for the first time and from gate 1 #3 Wizard’s Star gets the soft run on the fence. Magorrian stays on, and at $4 he’s better than twice the price of #8 Michonne’s Katana in a small field where nothing wants to lead. I like the one drawn to land the gun trip. Gear off, inside gate, four bucks. He fits.
3. Lucky Star $6.50
Barrier 1 · Backmarker · No leader
Not much has to go right at $6.50. #3 Lucky Star draws the rail, blinkers first time, and with nobody wanting to lead, #4 Reel Crystal has the same off-pace job at $1.75 for a quarter of the price. I’ll take him to charge home late.
4. Gold Finger $3.80
Barrier 6 · Backmarker · Soft pace
Confidence pick. #4 Gold Finger at $3.80, tongue tie on and a placing at his last go, and in a seven-horse field on the heavy he only needs that late charge to land. Yes he gets back, but I’d rather have him than the $3.40 fav. Take him.
2. Baycat $6.00
Barrier 4 · Pace · Soft pace
#2 Baycat can roll forward in a slow-run heavy 9 from gate 4, blinkers on, and he won the last time he stepped out before his freshen. The $2.05 fav has to wind up from the back off a worse map. I’m on at $6.
14. Spring Prospect $3.30
Barrier 1 · Off Pace · Soft pace
Soft, off pace trip from gate 1, on a heavy track.
