Just the one at Ballarat today, so it is a quick look rather than a full card. Bring Me Power is the horse we keep coming back to in Race 5, a 1000m dash with ten of them lining up and no clear leader in the run. He is drawn 3 and rolls forward, which matters plenty in a sprint where nobody wants to lead. Showers about, so keep an eye on the track. At $3.40 he is worth a look, but this is a thin day and we are not pretending otherwise.

Nobody looks keen to lead over this 1000m, and that suits #2 Bring Me Power. He’s drawn 3 with the speed to use it, and the pre-race ear muffs should keep him settled until the gates open. Blondie’s Award has to work across from gate 8 and still get back in a sprint, which is a lot to ask at $5.50. I’m on Bring Me Power at $3.40.
