Caulfield Horse Racing Tips Sat 10/10/26
Caulfield runs a staying card, from 1100m out to 2400m,…

Not a big day up in the Alice, just five races on a Good track with fine weather overhead, so no excuses for anyone. We only landed on three worth a look, and none of them are short. Denuto in the second is drawn 5 and gets to sit off a field with no clear leader, which is where we keep coming back to $8 for him. Revolution Rising in the third is the shortest of ours at $6 from a wide gate, so he has to overcome the barrier, but the price still reads about right. Small card, honest prices, a couple of angles if you want a swing at it.
7. Demiquaver $9.50
Barrier 7 · Off Pace · Soft pace
Here’s the overs play. #6 Brat is your $2.90 favourite, but he settles back off the speed, and in a soft-run race that leaves him needing the same luck as everyone else. #7 Demiquaver maps in the same spot for more than triple the quote. He won a couple and placed twice before a spell, then ran on for third last start, so the ability is there. At $9.50 I’d rather have him.
1. Denuto $8.00
Barrier 5 · Off Pace · No leader
The $2.20 favourite doesn’t grab me. Detroit Dreaming settles midfield in a no-leader race, so she has to find a gap too. #1 Denuto sits just off them from gate 5, ran second two back and fourth last start, and he knows how to finish off. Deborah Barton stays on. At $8, I’m happy to take him each-way.
3. Revolution Rising $6.00
Barrier 8 · Midfield · Genuine pace
Blinkers go on and that’s the hook. #3 Revolution Rising has been placing in most of his recent runs, and in a genuine-tempo sprint he can pick up the pieces from midfield. Gate 8 is the query, but Jessica Booth can slot him in. #2 Chief White Sock is $3.30 and has to lead them up; I’d rather take $6 on the one finishing off. On him.
