Fremantle vs Brisbane Grand Final Prediction
Brisbane by four. That is my number for the Grand…

Gold Coast are at home and the bookies have them in front, but they have lost each of their last five and I don’t buy the price. The Dogs get first use at the stoppages, and at these odds the value sits squarely with the visitors, wind and all.

This is the game on the card I keep coming back to. Gold Coast at home, the market siding with them, and I still want the Bulldogs.
The Dogs win 38.5 clearances a game to Gold Coast’s 32.4. That is six more first use balls a game, and in a low scoring windy game first use is territory. That is the edge.
It is a tight one, no argument. But Gold Coast come in having lost their last five, and I am not paying favourite’s odds for that.
Gold Coast get the home tick and the shorter price, but they have lost each of their last five and the footy does not back the favouritism. Taking the Bulldogs as the underdog is exactly where the value sits. When the market and I disagree on who wins, that is when I am most interested.
Gold Coast will win the taps out of the ruck, but winning the tap is not the same as winning the ball. The Dogs get first use, 38.5 clearances a game to 32.4, and turn it into territory in their forward half. In a game this close that is the edge that decides it.
There is real wind about this afternoon, and wind is the great leveller for scoring. It is the one thing that genuinely worries the over, so if you are stacking the total into the multi, go in knowing the conditions are working against it.
The risk is not hidden. I make it a one point game and Gold Coast are at home, so a fast start from the Suns and a strong breeze that kills the Dogs’ run would flip the whole thing. But at this price, the Dogs are the side I want.
The Western Bulldogs to win a tight one on the Gold Coast, better value than a home side that has dropped each of its last five.
Give me the Western Bulldogs. The market has them as underdogs they are not, off a home side that has lost five straight. The wind makes the over the shakiest leg, so if you trim anywhere trim there, but the Dogs to win is the call.

| Our Tip | Western Bulldogs Multi: H2H + Line + Over 165.5 @ $7.51 |
| Predicted Score | Gold Coast Suns 84 – Western Bulldogs 85 |
We’re with the Western Bulldogs. It is a tight one, a point or two in it, but Gold Coast come in having lost each of their last five and the market still has the Dogs as underdogs. That is the value.
Our best bet is the multi: Western Bulldogs to win, cover the 2.5 line and over 165.5 total points at $7.51. The value leg is the Bulldogs head to head at $2.07, though the over is the one the wind threatens most.
