Fremantle sit 6-4 at the ground since 2022. That is not a side that gets stage fright at footy’s home of the game, and it is the most misread thing about this match. Melbourne get the crowd. They do not get an opponent who is uncomfortable.

Fremantle have built a name this season for putting sides away after half time. Melbourne’s coach is backing their fitness to stay in that fight, and I reckon they will still be in it at the main break. I just do not think they are there at the end, which is also why 173.5 looks light to me.
